Rick has been a financial advisor for more than 40 years. He focuses on helping families build wealth and develop distribution strategies that reflect their wishes. As Rick often says, “The happiest people I know are the ones who get checks.”

A native of Winterville, Georgia, Rick attended Athens public schools and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Rick currently serves as Deacon Emeritus at First Baptist Church of Athens and has contributed to numerous civic causes throughout his life.

He and his wife, Jill Saye of Athens, have been married for 50 years. They have two daughters, Laura and Emily, and five grandchildren.

In his free time, Rick enjoys spending time with family at Lake Hartwell. He loves the outdoors, especially quiet moments spent relaxing and studying the clouds
