April joined Highland Trust Partners in 2024 as Executive Assistant to Mark Cross. Her primary focus is helping optimize Mark’s time and manage his priorities effectively. She coordinates annual client reviews, organizes scheduling, and ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Before joining Highland Trust Partners, April worked at a local estate planning law firm as a Client Services Representative, where she also oversaw the firm’s finances and operations. Prior to that, she worked in her family’s businesses and brings more than 30 years of experience in customer relations, executive support, finance, sales, and marketing.

Born and raised in Athens, April attended Emmanuel College and the University of Georgia. She has three children and one granddaughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, attending music concerts, and cheering on Georgia football.
