HTP understands that we are supported by our communities, so it is our responsibility to give time, energy, and finances back to the people and organizations that make up the backbones of our communities. Everyone on our team is encouraged to get involved with a cause or foundation that’s important to them, and many of us are associated with several. As Winston Churchill said: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

 

Chris and Amy hosted hole tent at the annual Oconee County Chamber Golf Tournament on April 14th, 2022.  Their feature drink this year was Georgia Peach Palmer and served pimento cheese sandwiches.


HTP sponsored the 2022 ESP Gala and Chris attended with guests Kevin & Laura French, Adrienne Beachum, and Houston Gaines. 


To honor National First Responders Day, HTP brought breakfast to Fire Station #3 which is in our office’s territory. 


HTP is a proud supporter of Imagination Library, and we were honored to welcome Dolly to our office.


In our efforts to help families who have members with unique abilities, HTP along with other professionals & organizations around NE Georgia founded Georgia Special Needs Alliance (GASNA) in 2021.  Mission is giving families a support system so they can have more quality time with their loved ones. 


In support of community art, HTP sponsored the Willow Oak Tree Exhibit at the Lyndon House Arts Center on August 29th, 2021.


HTP joined Oconee Law Firm team to play in the first annual Developmental Disabilities Ministries golf tournament on June 17th, 2021. 


Chris & Will participated in the Par 3 for Patients Golf Tournament for Mercy Health Centers on June 10th, 2021. 


Chris & Amy sponsored a hole tent at the Annual Oconee County Chamber Golf Tournament on April 26th, 2021.  Our theme this year was Cinco de Mayo so our drink was Beeritas.

Chris, Amy, & Will sponsored a hole tent at the Annual Oconee County Chamber Golf Tournament on August 28th, 2020 and is the first charity tournament in area as COVID shut down events.  Theme was luau and our drink of choice was an Island Punch. 


Highland Trust Partners sponsored and attended the Big Hearts Gala benefiting Extra Special People (ESP) on February 9th 2019. ESP is a local organization providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families to engage, connect, and thrive.


Highland Trust Partners participated in the Athens Area Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 20, 2018 raising almost $5000 to help find a cure for this disease.


In honor of National Dog's Day on August 27th, we made a contribution to the Athens Humane Society for their adoption program. We are obviously a dog loving group!


Incredible event with proceeds to Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Services.


HTP proudly supported the Happy & Lynn Dicks Young Life Golf Classic, with proceeds to support the mentoring of college, high school, and middle school students. Jason Norton represented our team well on the course.


For the 2017 holiday season, HTP once again participated in the Toys for Tots campaign collecting over two bins of toys. We also had Java Joy cater coffee to our clients at a luncheon. www.javajoy.org


Highland Trust Partners participated in the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's and raised $5144 to help find a cure for this terrible disease. Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and the only one in the top 10 that can not be prevented, cured or slowed.


HTP recently donated to area high school athletic programs. Best of luck to the student-athletes who work so hard throughout the year for the success of their teams.

Thanks to our clients, HTP collected three boxes of toys for children around our community. In a year toy drives are low, we are so appreciative of our clients helping us make the holidays special for children who have so little.


HTP is a proud supporter of the Athens Young Life Chapter in their efforts to work with kids to spread love and compassion to those in need around the community and the world.


HTP had their Pink Out on October 18th in honor of those who have fought or are fighting breast cancer.

HTP is proud to sponsor Threads of Hope fashion show benefiting Hope Haven of NE Georgia. Hope Haven empowers individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to participate fully in the community.


Amy Parrish and daughter Lindsey represented Highland Trust Partners in support of East Georgia Cancer Coalition by running their 5k race on May 7th


Highland Trust Partners sponsored St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Golf Tourney to support dementia, Alzheimer's, and hospice center on May 9th.
Great event and team finished 8th out of over 30 teams.


To celebrate our One-Year Anniversary,

HTP hosted a BBQ for friends, families, and clients before the University of Georgia spring football game on April 16th.

We used to the event as a food drive for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
